Magic Moments is a federally-recognized 501(c)(3) organization that relies on private donations to fund its mission. Individual donations, corporate sponsorships, foundation funding and special events fundraising efforts provide 100% of the monies needed to support the annual operating budget. Therefore, your donation is critical as we continue our mission of granting magic moments to children with serious illnesses. Outlined below are some of the ways YOU can help:

Memorial or Tribute Gifts
Your cash gift can be given in memory of a loved one or special friend, or it can be given in honor of someone’s birthday or special occasion (graduation, anniversary, etc.) You can securely make a memorial or tribute gift on-line by clicking here, or you may call the Magic Moments office at 205-939-9372 between the hours of 8:30am – 4:30pm (CST) and speak with one of our helpful staff members.
Making a monthly donation to Magic Moments is simple and easy. Just call the Magic Moments office at 205-939-9372 and let us know the amount of the donation, the credit card number, and the day of the month you would like the charge to be made. If you decide to change the amount at any time or suspend your donation for any reason, just call the Magic Moments office and we will make the change.
Many corporations have established matching gift programs where employees can make a tax-deductible donation to a charity, and the employee’s donation is then matched by the company. This is an easy and effective way to double the gift to the charity, and the employee and employer receive a tax deduction. Find out if your company participates in a Matching Gifts Program by contacting your Human Resources Department, or contact the Magic Moments office at 205-939-9372 for more information.
Gifts of Stock and Other Investment Securities
A gift of stock, bonds, or mutual funds may provide significant tax benefits to the donor as it allows you to avoid paying capital gains tax. The easiest way to transfer securities to Magic Moments is to instruct your broker in writing. Once the Magic Moments office is notified of your desire to make a gift of stock, we will provide you or your broker with the necessary information to transfer the securities.
As Magic Moments continues to grant more and more wishes, our funding must also grow. This is why your donations are so necessary. While cash gifts are very important, deferred gifts will make a difference for the future of the Magic Moments children.
There are a number of ways that you might consider making a deferred gift, but the easiest and most common way is to make a bequest in your will. This bequest will allow you to give any amount of money free of estate taxes. If you are interested in making a bequest (or any other type of deferred gift), we recommend that you consult your attorney or financial advisor who can assist you in making this a part of your legacy.
Frequent Flyer Miles
