In March 2007, 13-year-old Taylor was diagnosed with ALL, a type of leukemia. Since then Taylor has maintained a positive attitude and has dedicated herself to helping others through various activities including Relay for Life and Light the Night. “People have said that I have been an inspiration to them. It makes me feel good and I get to have fun at the same time.” When Magic Moments heard about Taylor, we wanted to make sure that Taylor received a special magic moment just for her. That magic moment was a trip to Atlanta to meet Taylor’s hero, Jeff Francoueur of the Atlanta Braves. Not only did Taylor and her family meet Francoueur, they met many of the other players during batting practice on the field. The magic moment didn’t end on the field, Taylor and her family also visited several Atlanta favorites including the CNN Center, Coca-Cola Museum and the Georgia Aquarium. Taylor and her mom said the same thing when asked about their magic moment trip to Atlanta, “It was a blast!”
