Magic Moment of the Month - February 2007
In the midst of the holidays, going shopping is one of the best ways to celebrate. That is exactly how one Magic Moments wish child chose to spend her magic moment. Sahirah is a beautiful 4-year-old girl from Selma, with a spinal cord injury. Magic Makers, Karen and Lindsey, were excited to take on Sahirah shopping spree. They met Sahirah at the Target in Montgomery, Alabama. Upon arriving at Target, Sahirah was met by all the store employees standing with balloons to welcome her.
Sahirah was all smiles as she began her trek through the store. Her shopping list included anything pink, since that is her favorite color. Sahirah shopped until she got all the pink things she could possible want including pink earrings, a pink purse, pink games, and several more pink goodies. Karen and Lindsey said Sahirah was such a happy person and everyone she met left smiling, glad to have met such a sweet little girl. As you can see from the picture, Sahirah’s shopping spree was a great success!
