Samantha’s Shopping Frenzy
Ask any teenage girl what she loves to do best and you can bet she will say, “Shopping!” So when Samantha, an 18 year old from Centerville, Alabama, was given her magic moment she chose a shopping spree at the mall.
On a warm Saturday in May, Samantha and her father met her wish chair, Robin Smith, at the Riverchase Galleria in Birmingham, Alabama. They shopped till they dropped, going from small boutique stores to the big department stores. At Sears, Samantha picked up a TV, DVDs and new bedding and bath accessories for her room. She then moved on to the clothes where she found jeans and cute tops as well as several accessories to match. Next on her list were shoes and makeup. After choosing three new pairs of shoes, she made her way to Sephora – a makeup lover’s dream. Samantha was treated to a makeover by a makeup artist and took home a fortune in powders, lipsticks and eye shadows.
At the end of the day, Samantha was pleased with her shopping journey. When asked what her favorite part of the day was, she replied, “Definitely the makeover!”
