In order to be eligible for a magic moment, a child must be between the ages of 4 and 18, be a resident of Alabama and meet one of the following medical criteria:

• be between the ages of 4 and 18
• be a resident of Alabama
• have a life-threatening or life-altering medical condition that substantially limits one or more major life activities
  

A magic moment is for the child, and the child must be cognizant that he/she is receiving a wish. Additionally, if the child has received a wish from another wish-granting organization, he/she would not be eligible to receive a magic moment.

Magic Moments grants only non-medical wishes. Requests for hearing aids, wheelchairs, etc. do not qualify since those items are generally provided through insurance. Wishes that might create a risk for the child (such as all-terrain vehicles, firearms, motorcycles, etc.) will not be granted. Cash gifts are not given.

If the child meets our criteria, we will forward all paperwork to you which will begin the process.
