A first successful bike ride is one of the magical joys of childhood: Now, Abby, an 8 year old quadriplegic angel, knows this simple joy thanks to Magic Moments!

Abby of Huntsville, Alabama had a heart transplant at the age of 5 months and as a result, suffered a hypoxic brain injury leaving her without the use of her arms and legs. In addition, Abby suffers from Crohn’s disease which requires her to have a feeding tube to her stomach.

All Abby wanted was to be able to participate in family bike rides with her mom, dad and twin sister Shea. Magic Moments was able to make Abby’s dream come true with a custom adaptive bike which allows her to sit in front while her dad pedals from behind. Now, not only is Abby able to be a part of family bike rides, but together she and her dad have participated in several bike rallies in Huntsville and Tuscaloosa. Abby’s magic moment is one she will never outgrow and can enjoy for years to come!
