Jim Heilbron is a part of the Board of Directors at Magic Moments. When he isn’t serving on the board, he is serving as a senior vice president at Alabama Power.
When asked why he wanted to get involved with Magic Moments he simply replied, “Helping children in need in our state – can’t argue with that mission statement!”
Jim’s favorite Magic Moments event is the annual Sporting Clay Shoot, hosted at Selwood Farms each September outside of Birmingham.
However, Heilbron does more than participate in fundraising — he and his family also serve as Magic Makers for children. One of Heilbron’s favorite memories is doing a reveal for a child who wished to go to Disney World with his family. He said, “Although he was not verbal, we all knew how excited and happy he was to receive the trip. My children still talk about it and how gratifying it was to give him that opportunity!”
