Courtney Carson

For more than a decade, Courtney Carson has poured her heart into Magic Moments, inspired daily by the courage of the children and families served by the organization.

A Montgomery native and Auburn University graduate, she has called Birmingham home since 2009. Courtney joined Magic Moments in 2010 with the goal of making a difference, but she often says it’s the children and families she has met who have made the greatest difference in her life. Over the years, she has helped the organization grow, working to ensure that no child in Alabama facing a life-threatening or life-altering condition is ever turned away. Her work is fueled by compassion, creativity, and a desire to bring light into the lives of others.

Outside of Magic Moments, Courtney is a wife to her husband, Jim, and mom to their daughter, Ellis. Together, they are active in their church, love to travel, and spend many weekends cheering on the Auburn Tigers in The Loveliest Village on the Plains.
